3D Works

In this piece my collaborator, Venice Gell, and I  randomly selected two textures to cover with liquid latex then invert and stuff. We wanted to combine the two textures so they would be a single object that did not represent the two original objects in any way. At the same time, we wished to portray a sense of weight and balance.

Abstract #1

Stuffed latex

11"X22"X16"

Abstract #2

Carved Plaster

10"X9"X8"

This piece was  my first experience with carved plaster. I started out with the goal of creating negative and positive space  and then just kept carving to see where it would take me.  In the end i fell the sculpture represents my personality and how from one angle it is simple and easy to understand wile from another angle it can seem far more strange and complex.
